We collaborate with our clients to build custom websites, content management systems and bespoke software. We have the knowledge, skill and experience to design and implement the full application stack: from backend workhorse services that do the heavy lifting, to complex data modeling, through middleware and rich front-end systems with highly interactive UI/UX.
We work primarily with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. But we are happy to build systems with other techonologies like NodeJS, Python, Java, or PHP if it's the best tool for the job.
Jeremy Yun
Jeremy joined his first startup before the web existed. He has spent the last 20 years creating new software products at ActiveGrid, WebMethods, Apple Computer and Xaos Tools. Prior to co-founding 2RYE he worked as a Lead Web Developer at Carbon Five. Jeremy likes to collaborate with small teams, using agile methodologies to deliver high quality products. He wants to create beautiful applications that expand human experience and make the world a better place.
Jon Rogers
Jon has been working in software development for 20 years. After graduate school where he worked on image compression algorithms, he started working in various science and techology companies, including for Carbon Five, Xmarks, BEA Systems, Symyx Technologies, and FAST Search. On the side, he helps run Mission Artists United an initiative built to support and promote the largest arts district in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While working on our various projects, we have occasion to scribble out some little bits of code here and there. Some of these are little tools that we use to help us through an issue or feature. Others come out from the desire to learn about some language topic or feature that we want to play with.
